It gives me immense pleasure to head up this wonderful school that I have over three decades become part of. My association with Maitland High School spans many years and I have grown in my management progression to adopt all the learners its staff members as my own family. Every learner is always regarded as a star and every staff member as a meaningful contributor to bring out the absolute best in everyone. 

As the head of Maitland High School, together with my management team and all the stakeholders it is our wholehearted ambition to allow every learner to excel and to be the absolute best they can be on their own potential. 

My educators ensure that all learners are afforded unparalleled opportunities in the classroom for optimum and meaningful learning and teaching.

Maitland High School is a safe, drug free and extremely appealing school to accept all learners of all the diversified backgrounds. Over the last 10 years it has been one of the very few schools accepting many leaners from the across the South African boundaries. The school has subsequently become the home and schooling environment of many local and foreign national learners.

As the head I can very proudly declare that the school and all its members are of good standing with a very demanding disciplinary code. The staff, learners and all stakeholders are unequivocally devoted to ensuring that all learning and in all its formats are accomplished successfully. The school also suitably includes a variety of sporting codes and other extracurricular activities for all the learners, whichcomplement the whole learning and school experience.

As the head of Maitland High School, I undoubtedly envisage the school to progress and advance on all the academic and extracurricular fronts. Moreover, the school will consistently strive to achieve.
